Considered the national drink of Peru, the pisco is a spirit made from grapes that emerged on the coast of Peru during the colonial era, after the Spanish introduced the first vineyards. Each pisco varies according to the type of grapes used, but each grape is also different depending on the valley and altitude where it grows, which make hundreds of varieties of grapes and pisco.


Ricardo Carpio learned about pisco from his grandfather and created Pisco Bar in his honor. It’s with a lot of humility that this pisco purist will share with you his passion.


You will get to taste very different varieties of pisco, before starting to make you own cocktails. Mix pisco with passion fruit and cranberry, mint and orange peel, ginger… And just like wine, pisco combines very well with food, so each of your cocktails will be paired with delicious Peruvian appetizers, some of them flambé with… guess what, pisco !
